SUMMARY:Application of Risk-Based Engineering to Ammonia Storage Tanks
DESCRIPTION:Determining an appropriate inspection strategy for ammonia storage tanks is complicated by the factors that contribute to ammonia stress corrosion cracking\, primarily the effects of stress over time and exposure to oxygen. As such\, the inspection strategy for ammonia storage tanks should find balance between the need for information and the potential for crack propagation. This webinar will discuss a multi-disciplinary approach to determining an appropriate inspection strategy for ammonia storage tanks. The multi-disciplinary approach utilizes both risk-based inspection (RBI) and fitness-for-service (FFS) to better understand an ammonia storage tank’s susceptibility to ammonia SCC. In addition to an overview of the methodology\, a case study will be shared.

SUMMARY:PDPs: Regaining\, Strengthening and Transferring Process Design Intelligence
DESCRIPTION:What happens when in-house process design and engineering experience disappears and design decision makers walk out the door of your organization?  What if your engineering knowledge didn’t leave with people or third party contractors and every design decision strengthened your organization?  \n\n\n\nFor years\, basic process design and engineering have leaned heavily on external standards and third-party expertise. The result is fragmented in-house knowledge\, uneven designs\, and a growing gap between in-house and contractor design experience.  \n\n\n\nTo address this growing gap and to transfer knowledge and best practices in process design and engineering\, Equity has developed a new set of Process Design Practices (PDPs).  The PDPs join our comprehensive set of more than 1000 Engineering Practices that support a broad range of process industries.  The PDPs ensure consistency\, knowledge transfer\, continuity\, best practices in engineering\, and long-term in-house design control.  They function as design references and training tools\, embedding proven methodologies for equipment sizing\, fluid handling\, heat integration\, safety systems\, and key engineering decisions that shape reliable basic designs\, resulting in retaining critical know-how\, and bringing design ownership back where it belongs. \n\n\n\nIn this webinar\, we will explore the content of this new PDP collection and discuss the value of integrating these Practices into your company’s knowledge base\, strengthening self-sufficiency\, continuity\, and engineering best practices.

SUMMARY:The Power Behind Integrated RBI and Electrical Audits
DESCRIPTION:In complex process environments\, electrical system reliability is linked to process safety\, regulatory adherence\, and operational performance. A modern\, integrated approach is required to manage the integrity of these critical assets effectively. \n\n\n\nThis webinar details how merging a comprehensive risk-based inspection (RBI) program with in-depth electrical safety and reliability audits creates a powerful framework for enhancing asset management strategies. Using a case study from a high-hazard facility\, the presenter will demonstrate how this integrated methodology provides actionable insights for immediate risk mitigation and long-term reliability planning. The session will focus on evaluating critical assets such as power transformers\, medium-voltage switchgear\, and motor control centers using a blend of ISO\, API\, IEC\, and NFPA standards. \n\n\n\nRegister today to gain practical recommendations for improving safety\, increasing equipment reliability\, and mitigating risk within your facility.
