SUMMARY:API RBI Software within PlantManager
DESCRIPTION:This training course teaches attendees how to effectively navigate and implement the Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) methodology of API RP 581 using Equity’s API RBI software. After a brief background presentation of basic RBI principles\, the course introduces the learner to the API RBI software environment by navigating to areas of the software to enter key inputs\, view results\, and interpret inspection recommendations. Once general navigation has been understood\, the attendee learns how to model fixed equipment in API RBI by participating in hands-on exercises to interpret and enter mechanical\, process\, inspection\, and damage mechanism data. After the equipment modeling is complete\, the learner calculates the risk of the equipment\, interprets the results\, and carefully considers the inspection recommendations.
