Overview:

Chris Aguayo has over 10 years’ experience of engineering in metallurgical and corrosion engineering. He has spent most of his career in an owner-operator role at Chevron and Shell and has been involved in numerous corrosion control document reviews, risk-based inspection reviews, turnaround repairs, dead leg assessments, and material selection.

Chris has been consulting for the past few years and has been involved in renewable diesel facility rebuild, including damage mechanism reviews (DMRs), material selection review, re-use assessments, and weld repair plans development. During this time, Chrishas also facilitated DMRs for a major petrochemical facility, turnaround extension assessment, CML optimization, and a plant-wide CUI risk assessment.
