Mechanical integrity (MI) programs are maturing. Corrosion monitoring locations have been established and are now being optimized, and risk-based inspection (RBI) planning is more common. Yet piping continues to fail in service from a damage mechanism that most MI programs avoid or ignore: vibration fatigue. Piping vibration integrity programs are easier to adopt now that acceptance criteria will be codified in API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 Part 15. This webinar covers how to perform piping vibration inspection and assessment and prioritize mitigation actions with a risk-based approach to supplement the assessment outcomes. Examples will be shared on how Part 15 Level 1 and 2 Fitness-for-Service evaluations of piping vibration can be executed with field engineers and evaluated at scale to supplement your MI programs.
