David is an accomplished hands-on software and system engineering leader with extensive experience leading enterprise-scale projects.  He is skilled in creating and implementing efficient processes for hiring, team building, and technical roadmapping and is adept at collaborating with executive leadership to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Prior to joining Equity Software, David served as VP of Engineering at a healthcare company during which time he designed and implemented unified microservices architecture from two legacy electronic health records (EHR) systems; migrated infrastructure to AWS, saving $1.1M/year in operating expenses; overhauled support operations using ITIL standards; and led SOC-2, HITRUST, and HIPAA compliance efforts.
