Currently serving as the Director of Mechanical Services for the Gulf Coast region, Kevin brings a wealth of expertise in mechanical engineering, integrity management, and project leadership.
With a strong foundation laid during his tenure at BP and Phillips 66, Kevin has held pivotal roles driving operational excellence, reliability, and safety across diverse refinery environments. At Phillips 66, Kevin served as Senior Fixed Equipment Engineer for global refining, where he spearheaded mechanical integrity initiatives across 13 refineries, managing corporate engineering practices and standards.
Prior to his time at Phillips 66, Kevin honed his skills at BP, where he served in various capacities, including Inspection Supervisor and Maintenance and Reliability Engineer. Notably, he played a crucial role in managing inspection compliance for significant refinery units, mitigating risks, and enhancing operational efficiency. Kevin’s innovative approach and technical acumen were instrumental in resolving longstanding equipment issues and implementing modernized maintenance programs.
Kevin has been actively involved in industry associations such as API and ASME, contributing to standards development and serving as a chair for API Technical Report 942C. His expertise extends to steam methane reforming furnaces, where he served as a corporate mechanical subject matter expert.
