Garrett is a staff engineer with the Rotating Equipment, Vibration, & Dynamics team. Prior to Equity, Garrett worked as a rapid response engineer at a nuclear electricity-generating station owning the company’s vibration monitoring program. As the vibration monitoring program engineer, he was responsible for condition monitoring, root cause determination, troubleshooting, acceptance testing, and corrective action methods of rotating and reciprocating equipment for a wide variety of pumps, fans, electric motors and generators, steam turbines, gearboxes, compressors, and diesel engines. He was also responsible for modifications and equipment specification of centrifugal pumps and electric motors for reliability enhancements and equipment upgrades.
