John Hargrove is a key team member that contributes to all aspects of RBI assessments, including the validation of mechanical integrity data, the creation of systems and circuits, and the implementation of inspection plans and schedules. His responsibilities include data handling, review of equipment records, piping design, and project management. In addition, he is responsible for the review of inspection histories and damage mechanisms for use in RBI programs. He worked with Equity’s RBI Team from 2007-2017 and returned to Equity in 2021. Currently, he is the Group Head for the RBI Inspection Specialists and is leading the development of ITPs within the organization. John has over two decades of industry experience including inspection/safety roles at multiple Texas petrochemical facilities. He began his career in 1997 as a Pipefitter Apprentice with Local 211 in Houston, TX.
