Rosalind Allen is a control systems engineer. Her fields of expertise include chemical plants, refineries, LNG facilities, and some aerospace.
Rosalind has experience in helping lead a team of several engineers on a ConocoPhillips Optimized Cascade process LNG facility from the FEED phase to the as-built phase. During this project, she gained experience and trust to increase her responsibilities to include leading the P&ID development team. This included supervising a small team of control systems engineers in development of P&IDs, cause and effects, process control narratives, and complex loops. She attended HAZOP meetings with the client and was responsible for helping to close out the LOPA and HAZOP recommendations for her area of responsibility.
Rosalind has also worked on several safety lifecycle activities. She has performed SIL verification calculations and has closed out FSA Stage 1 and 2 assessment findings for LNG projects.
Rosalind also has experience working directly with a client to ensure interfaces between systems were aligned. She worked closely with NASA umbilical engineers on the mobile launcher currently being built. This included ensuring cables that would be passing through the umbilical bulkheads on the tower were properly defined in the wiring application tool so that construction could properly terminate the cables.
