Sujan is a structural engineer with the Mechanical & Structural Engineering team at Equity Engineering. During his academic career, he worked as a graduate research assistant where he used ANSYS LS-DYNA to simulate vehicular collision in FRP retrofitted Bridge Piers and used Minitab to perform detailed data and regression analysis. He also spent time as a teaching assistant and research assistant.
Prior to pursuing his doctorate, Sujan worked as a civil engineer in Nepal. His responsibilities included designing and estimating the construction cost of two overhead water tanks, evaluating proposals for proposed construction, preparing the bill of quantities and interim payment certificated (IPCs) for completed work, and preparing thematic maps and hydrology analysis for new projects using GIS. He also provided design and project management support.
