Ahmet Osman is a dedicated and experienced QA professional with a strong focus on ensuring high-quality software solutions. With 6 years of extensive experience in software quality assurance and test automation, Ahmet excels in performing quality assurance and user acceptance testing (UAT) to meet business requirements.
Throughout his career, Ahmet has actively participated in various phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing lifecycle (STLC), collaborating effectively in both Waterfall and Agile Scrum environments. He is well versed in Agile practices, including daily stand-ups, sprint grooming, sprint planning, sprint demo, sprint retrospective, and backlog item prioritization.
Ahmet has a proven track record of acquiring new skills and technologies. Most recently, he retired the Practices 2.0 Classic version automation framework and built a new automation framework for the Practices 2.0 Unified View system, significantly enhancing testing efficiency. He successfully added 106 test automation scenarios, further solidifying his contributions to streamlined and reliable software delivery.
Ahmet has expanded his expertise by learning Python, TypeScript, Ready API, and GitLab, and by completing numerous trainings in 2024 including the TestMu Conference Workshop, Integration of AI in Testing, Steering AI in Quality Engineering, AI-Driven Software Testing, Playwright as a Testing Tool, and Functional and Visual Regression Testing. Additionally, he plays a crucial role as part of the SCRA automation team, where he contributes to writing, planning, and designing test automation scenarios for SCRA projects.
Prior to joining Equity, Ahmet served as a QA Automation Engineer, where he demonstrated a keen eye for detail by reviewing test cases and scripts to ensure top-notch quality. He excelled in developing and automating test cases, employing behavior-driven development practices, and creating comprehensive test scenarios, cases, and user stories. Ahmet’s expertise includes smoke testing, cross-browser testing, parallel testing, and regression testing, all aligned with project requirements.
Moreover, Ahmet’s diverse background as a testing coordinator/data specialist and a computer science teacher has equipped him with exceptional communication and organizational skills, allowing him to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver exceptional results.
