SagePlus/PlantManager with FFS Applications
April 28 @ 8:00 am – May 2 @ 12:00 pm
This SagePlus™ training course provides training specific to the SagePlus™ suite of analytical tools used to evaluate pressure-containing equipment such as process vessels, piping, and storage tanks. The course will cover the structure of the SagePlus™ software and is designed to develop skills in its navigation and use. The software can be used to design new equipment or evaluate in-service equipment based on the criteria in the ASME and API design codes and standards. In-service evaluation capability includes equipment rerating or fitness-for-service (FFS) for a wide variety of damage mechanisms.
The SagePlus™ software training course features instruction of the most widely used modules within this benchmark software for FFS assessments. For each SagePlus™ module, the training begins with an overview presentation of the appropriate part of API 579-1/ASME FFS-1 to give the learner the necessary background of the FFS methodology. This instruction is then followed by a hands-on application of each assessment module during which the learners will input equipment design data, inspection, and operating data (as applicable) as they perform various design, rerate, FFS, and specialty assessments.
